And if its capped?

What do you think CO is raising with here, that he would coldcall with no other limpers or CCers PF?

He would probably 3 bet AKs PF, maybe he'd call A9s if he thinks Hero's on a steal.

There's no read, but I'm assuming he's a dummy as any hand that beats Hero's should 3 bet preflop rather than cold call.

Therefore it could be some weird slow played 2nd best hand.

OK my question is probably misleading because I think CO is incorrect to CC PF with what looks to be Ax /images/graemlins/diamond.gif.

I'd rather call his raise and snap off a bluff than 3-bet and call a cap if he has the goods. If he did bluff-raise this river, I can make a note for next time.

First - why don't you want it capped? A flush HU looks pretty good to me. I may be too aggressive, but I 3-bet the river every time.

As for the turn, I think the bet is fine given that you picked up the OESD and you have some fold equity HU.

Now I'll go read how wrong I am. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yup. Call a cap. Straights and two pair will raise the river; so will lower flushes and higher flushes. You're ahead > 66% when called here.

nice hand.

Ax diamonds and Kx diamonds are the only realistic hands that CO could've had to beat you... Calling two cold, I'd don't think that he'd have Kx diamonds (if not, add him to buddy list). So he could realistically hold 1 hand that could beat you. Thats a river raise /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ah, sneaky sneaky. I missed the straight possibility when I was reading.

He also may have gotten a set on either the flop or the river, and waited until now to raise you.
