clueless if i played this correctly. top pair bad kicker in early position because of SB, i only completed because of the preflop pot odds, but of course i hit top pair. nobody raises me on flop, so i figure to bet the overcard turn and fold if raised. no raises, river brings a blank but it's still very multiway. bet this river, or c/f depending on the position of the open bettor? if raised on river, fold? the pot got big; i figured i needed to bet. i was guessing at least two of them had clubs. these kinds of hands are tough.

I'd check and then re-evaluate on the flop. It's unlikely that at least 1 of the 8 remaining players won't stick around for the turn and outdraw your 8s if you bet. I think it's better to think about your outs when the action returns and see if the call is worthy.

Betting the flop into 7 others is pretty silly now isn't it?

Come on Brad, hit me again, but harder next time. I like it!

Is this a standard complete here? I still muck this, regardless of how many limpers there are.

With 6 limpers and the blinds, you are getting 15:1 to call...I think that warrants a call here.
