In the tradition of Punker, I wanted to post this thing. It's long and I don't think I always played well (I'd really like to get an opinion on a few hands) but I learned a lot from those two summaries, so hey, why not.

Level 1: (1000 starting chips, 10/15 blinds)
Hand 1:
Fourth hand of the tourney and my first playable hand; I get AdQd in the BB. One guy limps in EP, someone minraises in MP and there are a couple of callers. I call. The flop is AK3 (2 clubs), I bet 100 into the pot of 150; the EP limper calls, the MP raiser folds and the SB also calls. The turn is the 7 of clubs; everyone checks. The river is a 3, everyone checks and the pot is split 3 ways between my AQ and their AJ/AT.

Hand 2:
The next hand, I get 55 in the SB. There is an MP caller, another LP PF minraise, the button calls, and I call. The flop is AJ5, rainbow. I lead for 65 into the pot of 135; the MP guy calls and the LP minraiser minraises again to 130. I call and let MP overcall for a pot of 525. The turn is a 9, putting 2 diamonds on the board; I check to LP, he bets 145 and I checkraise all in. He calls with AJ, the river is a 9 and I double through to 2,130.

Level 2: (2,105 chips, 10/20 blinds)
Hand 3:
After folding a lot, I get AK UTG+1. I raise to 80 after a limper and get 2 callers. The flop is J64; I bet 200 into the pot of 280 and get one caller. We both check the 9 turn and I check/fold a 3 river.

For the next level and a half (the rest of the hour), I fold a lot with 33 in EP being my best hand. The guy to my right, though, gets a lot of my attention - he limps 79% of his hands in the first hour and raises 2% of them. Even better, he's hit every flop he's played and now has over 4,000 chips.

Level 4: (1,620 chips, 25/50 blinds)
Hand 4:
The first hand of this level, I get AcJc in the BB. A decent player limps UTG, the calling station to my right calls his SB, I check and check/fold a Q52 (1 club) flop.

Hand 5:
1 hand later, I get AhKh on the button. The CO calling station open limps and I make it 150. The blinds fold and the CO calls. The flop is K73 with 2 diamonds; he checks, I bet 250, he CR's me all in and I call another 1200. He turns over Ks5d; the turn is the 7d, the river is the Ts (whew) and I double up.

Hand 6:
An orbit and a half later, an EMP player with 395 chips open minraises to 100. The calling station, who is on the button, makes it 400, putting him all in. I have JJ in the SB and fold. The short stack has AQd, the button has KQ and a Q flops.

Later in this level, 77 misses a set and AQs takes down the blinds plus the requisite guy to my right limp.

Level 5: (3,115 chips, 50/100 blinds; I am around chip average)
Hand 7:
A mediocre table coach open limps in the CO. The button, now down to 1200 chips, follows. I have AJo in the SB, complete and check/fold a Q77 flop.

Hand 8:
An orbit later, I have 88 in MP3, limp behind the obligatory open limp to my right and check/fold the KJx flop; however, the calling station and the CO (who limped behind) get it all in on a K turn and naturally, the calling station has no kicker.

I steal the blinds once with an AJ raise in EMP before the level ends. Other than that, I've been doing no stealing at all thus far.

Level 6: (2,865 chips, 75/150 blinds)
Hand 9:
I fold for 2 orbits, getting down to 2500, when I get A9s in the SB. 2 (bad) limpers to me and I push. Everyone folds and I take down 525 chips.

Hand 10:
The next hand, I get 99 on the button. 3 limpers to me; I limp and fold the Q52 flop to a limper's bet.

[I have a thing against raising/pushing too many hands in a row in Party tourneys, but this one was really close. Anyone think I should push here, too?]

Hand 11:
I fold for another orbit until I get A2s in the BB. 2 LP limpers; I check to see an A52 flop with 2 hearts. The pot is 525, the first limper bets 400, I CR him all in and he folds after thinking a while.

We pause for another break and the table breaks on the next hand; I'm sent to Table 5. At this point, there are about 70 people left with 30 paid; I am a little below average with 3,700 chips.

***Bubble starts here***

Level 7: (3,715 chips, 100/200 blinds)
Hand 12:
I fold for an orbit at my new table when someone who hasn't played a hand thus far with 5,500 chips open raises for 600 in MP. I have 88 in the SB and fold.

Hand 13:
I fold for another 2 orbits following that hand until a short stack limps 200 of his 1200 chips UTG. It's folded to me in the BB and I check Q8o. The flop is J83, I bet 300 into the 500 chip pot and he folds.

Hand 14:
1 hand later, I have ATs on the button. Folded to me, I raise, the short stack SB pushes with 55 for another 400, and I call. The board comes 49J78 and I am at 4710 chips.

2 more orbits of folding follow.

Hand 15:
I raise AJo in EP to 900 as a semi steal. A big stack in MP reraises to 3000 and I fold.

Hand 16:
Three hands later, folded to me in the SB and I put a BB with 700 chips all in holding AJ. He calls with K4. The board is K7634 and he doubles up, leaving me with 2,638 chips.

Hand 17:
On the next hand, a short stack who hadn't done much thus far open limps UTG for 300 of his 1800. I have KQ on the button and push. The blinds fold and the short stack calls with JJ. The board comes K9372 and I now have 4,928 chips.

For the rest of the orbit, with my image now somewhat LAGgy, I open fold KQ in EMP and 77 UTG.

Hand 18:
A mediocre player open limps on the button. I have KQ again in the BB and push (I have him covered.) He folds and I'm at 5,228.

Hand 19:
The next hand, it's folded to me in the SB and I put the 1200 stack in the BB (the guy who doubled up with K4) all in with ATs. He calls with KTs. The board comes A7QJQ and he doubles up again, leaving me with 4,184 chips.

I fold for another orbit, including 66 UTG+1. To date, I have not attempted a straight LP steal.

Hand 20:
One orbit later, I'm in the SB again with 97s. It's folded to me and I push again. This time, the short stack folds and I maintain my stack at 4,184. The table starts noticing, though.

Hands 21-23:
In the CO, I open raise ATo to 800 and take the blinds. On the next hand, I open fold KJo in MP3. (Note: the BB in Hand 22 is the same big stack who reraised my AJo a while back.) I fold for the rest of the orbit, including an open fold of my 98o in the SB, and make sure to comment on it.

Somewhere in here, the shortie doubles up again with ATo v. QQ and now has a stack almost equal to me.

Hand 24:
I have AA in EMP, open raise and take the blinds. This is notable because other than the JJ I folded PF, this is my first pair better than 99 in over 2 hours.

Level 8: (4,634 chips, 200/400 blinds)
Hand 25:
On the first hand on the level, I am the BB, it's folded to the SB (who has me covered by about 1K) and he minraises. I have KQo (again) and push. He thinks a while but calls with A9s. The board comes T2K84 and I double up.

At this point, the average stack is about 7K with just over 40 people left. The tournament pays 30, but the payouts start at $112 and 10'th is only $150. However, I have everyone at my table outchipped.

I fold for another orbit (including an A8s in EMP I should really have raised as a big stack) until some guy folds his SB to my BB for the first time all tournament. The table breaks and I'm moved to Table 3 after the hand.

Hand 26:
At my new table, my seat is UTG and I post and fold some trash for another dozen hands. With roughly 38 or 39 people left, a smallish stack with 5K open raises to 900 in MP. I have 55 in the SB and push for 8,800. He thinks a while and folds.

I fold for another two orbits with a few people busting. I'd steal more but I think I was at the final table of the HORSE tournament at the time and there were people raising in front of me nearly every hand, anyway.

Level 9: (9,768 chips, 300/600 blinds)
Hand 27:
A short stack folds his SB to my BB again.

***The bubble breaks here***

Hands 28-29:
I get AKs in EP and steal the blinds. Two hands later, the short stack folds to my BB again (too bad, I had AJ) leaving me with 10,968 chips and about an average stack.

Hand 30:
I fold for an orbit until the short stack pushes for 1,800 in the CO. I have 3s3d on the button, decide to gamble with the dead blinds and push. The blinds fold and CO turns over 44. The board comes 8s6c2sJsQs and I river a flush to put me up to 13,382.

Hand 31:
After folding another orbit and a half, I get 33 UTG+1 7 handed and raise. I get one caller, the same guy who reraised my AJo and who's been playing pretty LAGgy since then. We check through the QJ7 flop and I check/fold the K turn.

Level 10: (10,682 chips, 400/800 blinds)
Hand 32:
I get another walk in the BB. Two hands later, the table breaks and I am moved to Table 2.

Hand 33:
One hand into the new table, I get KJ UTG+2 and raise to 2400. MP1 - the AJo guy *again* - and the BB call. The flop is JT5, rainbow. The BB bets 1,600 into the pot of 7,600, I push for 8,200 and both of them fold, giving me 17,482 chips (third at the table and above average).

Hand 34:
One hand later, I get 77 UTG and fold again.

Hand 35:
A guy in the CO that I have covered by 500 chips open raises to 2300. I have 66 in the SB and push for 16K. He lets his clock run down all the way and folds, giving me 19,782 chips.

To this point, I have still not stolen one blind. Resteals, on the other hand...

Hand 36:
The AJo and 33 guy, who now has me covered, minraises UTG+1. I am on the button with AQ and decide to call. The BB also calls and we see an AQ6 flop with 2 spades. He bets 1,400 into the 5,200 pot and I raise to 4,100. The BB folds; UTG+1 calls but check/folds the 2 turn when I bet about 5K. I now have 27,482 chips, good for the chip lead with about 18 left in the tourney.

Hand 37:
I fold for a couple of orbits until I get KJ in the BB. The button, who has 24K, open minraises and I call. The flop is Q64 and we both check. The turn is a 4, I bet 1800, he raises to 4800 and I fold.

I keep folding for another 2 orbits.

Level 11: (21,282 chips, 500/1000 blinds)
Hand 38:
I have AQ UTG and raise to 3,000. There is 1 caller, and then the button, who is the guy from Hand 37 and has me covered by 3K, goes all in. I go into the tank, look at his Playerview/PT numbers (something like 31 VP$IP/15 PFR, meaning he's a LAG), convince myself he's restealing and call. The third guy folds and the button turns over AK. The board comes KJ92...T and I am up to 46,564 as the massive chip leader. I make sure to comment about how bad that call was.

[No need to comment on that one - definitely my worst play of the tourney.]

Hand 39:
Three hands later, a guy with 12K open limps in the CO. I have KQ on the button and raise to 4K. Everyone folds.

Around this point, the guy I sucked out on loses with KK to AKs on a river flush and we are down to 11. I fold for three more hands to make the final table.

***Final table***

Stacks:
Seat 2: wild_moose ( $29278 )
Seat 3: Mangatang1 ( $23406 )
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $33231 )
Seat 8: jmoshe ( $48261 )
Seat 9: snikerr ( $17964 )
Seat 1: macccben ( $9651 )
Seat 5: hwiirnbw ( $13730 )
Seat 6: ilduce5 ( $27026 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $46064 )
Seat 10: crobinson10 ( $15389 )

The payout for the final table was:

1)$4,050
2)$2,325
3)$1,575
4)$1,200
5)$1,050
6)$900
7)$600
8)$450
9)$300
10)$150

Level 12: (46,064 chips, 500/1000 blinds)
Hand 40:
Three hands into the FT, ilduce, a decent but somewhat loose player, open completes his SB and I check my JhTs. The flop comes 987, all diamonds; he bets 2K (the pot) and I call, trying to get his stack in on 80% of turns. Unfortunately, the turn is a J and he check/folds to my bet of 4400, saying he had J8. I show the hand for some table image boost.

[If I don't have him covered twice I definitely raise the flop. As it were...I don't know. I thought the call was a risky play at the time with a chance of a huge payoff, but at this point I'm not sure. Thoughts?]

Hand 41:
On the next hand, I get A3o in the SB and open raise to 3K to steal the BB.

A bunch of folds later, not much changes in either direction.

Hand 42:
Half an orbit later, I get AQ and raise to 3K UTG. Pommie, a so far decent player, reraises to 13K on the button. The SB calls all in and I fold. As it turns out, the board comes JT82K and the SB's KQs beats Pommie's 66. My antenna goes up and I know this guy will be dangerous. On the bright side, this makes me the chip leader again.

Hand 43:
I fold my blinds, then open raise T9o on the button and steal from snikerr. This marks my first real steal of the tournament.

I then fold another orbit, nothing really happens and we hit the third break.

Stacks:
Seat 1: macccben ( $8151 )
Seat 2: wild_moose ( $30278 )
Seat 3: Mangatang1 ( $26906 )
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $26601 )
Seat 5: hwiirnbw ( $32760 )
Seat 6: ilduce5 ( $25124 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $47064 )
Seat 8: jmoshe ( $39761 )
Seat 9: snikerr ( $10966 )
Seat 10: crobinson10 ( $16389 )

Level 13: (47,064 chips, 750/1500 blinds)
Hand 44:
After I fold my 32o BB to ilduce, it's folded to him again on the button in the next hand and he open raises to 5200. This is a weird raise from him that I want no part of and I muck my A7o in the SB. The BB also folds and he flashes aces.

Hand 45:
I open raise 66 in the CO, snikerr goes all in with AQ and I call for another 5K. The board comes Q5JK9 and I double him up. I now have 35,348 chips.

Nothing else happens for the next orbit, except that ilduce, who's now made a couple of dumb bluffs and EP steals with 32o, makes another one and is first to bust.

Total number of players : 9
Seat 1: macccben ( $10401 )
Seat 2: wild_moose ( $28028 )
Seat 3: Mangatang1 ( $24656 )
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $23501 )
Seat 5: hwiirnbw ( $42895 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $35348 )
Seat 8: jmoshe ( $61761 )
Seat 9: snikerr ( $22682 )
Seat 10: crobinson10 ( $14728 )

Hand 46:
Pommie minraises my BB again for the third time in a row. I have 82o and don't resteal, but now I'm definitely on the lookout.

Hand 47:
Hwiirnbw, somewhat of a loose/passive player, open minraises in the CO. I have 44 on the button and just call. Snikerr also calls and we see a flop of 875 rainbow. They both check to me, I bet 6600 into the pot of 9,750, and they both fold. I have 40,598 chips.

Hand 48:
On the next hand, wild_moose, the AJ/33/etc. LAGgy guy from earlier, open raises for 9800 UTG+1. I have TT in the CO and turbofold. I'm now 0 for 3 in seeing flops with AA-TT.

Hand 49:
Half an orbit later, I get JTs in MP2 and steal the blinds.

A hand I am not in: Mangatang, who's been active but hasn't shown a thing down, raises to 5,000 in MP. Pommie is next to act and cold calls for a third of his stack. Jmoshe, a calling station extraordinaire, also calls and they see a K98 flop. The other two check to Pommie, who underbets 3K; jmoshe thinks, then min-CR's him. Mangatang folds (he said he had JJ), they get all in and Pommie's very predictable 99 beats jmoshe's TT to give him a stack again. I'm very annoyed.

Hand 50:
I've A6o in the CO and steal the blinds.

Hand 51:
Two hands later, I have AsQs and open raise to 4500 in MP2. Jmoshe calls behind me and we see a flop of QJ4, 2 clubs. I bet 7,000 and Jmoshe calls. The turn is a card I absolutely hate, the Js. I think forever, bet 10K and Jmoshe thinks and folds. I now have 56,598 chips, good for a big chip lead.

Hand 52:
A half an orbit later, I open complete 54s in the SB against jmoshe and then check/fold the 3 overcard flop. After seeing him play in the last orbit I am not really interested in raising marginal hands to steal on him anymore.

One hand later, crobinson pushes his last 8K with QJo UTG and is called by snikerr's kings. He doesn't draw out.

Stacks:
Seat 1: macccben ( $17802 )
Seat 2: wild_moose ( $25778 )
Seat 3: Mangatang1 ( $14406 )
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $39450 )
Seat 5: hwiirnbw ( $48345 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $53598 )
Seat 8: jmoshe ( $30961 )
Seat 9: snikerr ( $33660 )

Level 14: (53,598 chips, 1000/2000 blinds)
Hand 53:
I open raise AK to 6K UTG+1. Mangatang pushes from the SB and I call another 6K. He turns over AQ and the board comes 489Q2, doubling him up. I now have 41,192 chips.

On the next hand, I fold 44 UTG but hwiirnbw busts Mangatang with 99 vs. AQ on a Q97 flop.

Stacks:
Seat 1: macccben ( $11302 )
Seat 2: wild_moose ( $22778 )
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $37950 )
Seat 5: hwiirnbw ( $80157 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $41192 )
Seat 8: jmoshe ( $37711 )
Seat 9: snikerr ( $32910 )

Another hand I am not in: snikerr minraises UTG+1 and hwiirn calls from the SB. He bets the pot on the Q83 flop, snikerr folds and hwiirn shows Q8o. I am impressed and resolve to get his stack soon if possible.

Hand 54:
On the next hand, I open raise K8o in the SB to 5K, jmoshe makes it 20K, I fold and resolve to just see flops with him now as his PFR is something like 3%.

Hand 55:
I get A8o on the button and steal the blinds.

Hand 56:
I open raise A4o in the CO (third hand in a row, probably a mistake but macccben, a short stack, is in the BB.) Unfortunately, he thinks a while and pushes. It takes me two seconds to determine I have to call him, I do and he flips KK. Fortunately, the board is 9A452 and I bust him in seventh.

Stacks:
Seat 2: wild_moose ( $22778 )
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $37950 )
Seat 5: hwiirnbw ( $86157 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $48494 )
Seat 8: jmoshe ( $42711 )
Seat 9: snikerr ( $25910 )

On the next hand, I get A2o on the button and turbofold.

Hand 57:
On the hand after *that*, I get 88 UTG and make it 6K. Snikerr pushes behind me, I say something about "that's the problem with having a decent hand UTG" and fold. At this point I badly need to slow down.

A very nice hand I'm not in: wildmoose open pushes UTG+1, hwii calls on the button, and jmoshe overcalls. The flop is Q93 and jmoshe pushes his last 20K into the 60K pot. Hwii thinks forever and calls with AK; jmoshe flips 88 and wildmoose has AT. The turn and river are 47, wildmoose busts and jmoshe now has over 100K.

Stacks:
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $39950 )
Seat 5: hwiirnbw ( $40446 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $39494 )
Seat 8: jmoshe ( $109200 )
Seat 9: snikerr ( $34910 )

I got to fifth in one piece, but the big calling station is on my left and Pommie is still in the game. This is a real problem.

Hand 58:
I fold a few hands until I get A5o in the SB and open complete. Jmoshe checks. The flop is KK3, I check, he bets 2,000, and I call. The turn is a 7, putting 2 clubs on the board (I have the Ac); I check, he bets 2,000, and I call. The river is a K and I check planning to call a decent bet, but he checks behind and I beat his 96o.

Hand 59:
One orbit later, I open complete 97o in the SB, minbet the 733 flop and get him to fold. Now we're getting somewhere.

Somewhere in here, I would probably start stealing or defending my BB if my cards on the BB, CO and button didn't keep adding up to a 7. The others keep trading chips for a few orbits and I keep folding.

Hand 60:
Pommie limps UTG. I have QJo on the button, raise to 8K and everyone folds. I make a mental note.

Hand 61:
I have QTs in the SB, raise to 5K again and Jmoshe folds.

Hand 62:
After another three hands adding up to a 7, I get K7o UTG, raise to 6K as a frustration raise/image raise and everyone folds (lol).

Level 15: (45,494 chips, 1500/3000 blinds)
Stacks:
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $66240 )
Seat 5: hwiirnbw ( $36446 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $45494 )
Seat 8: jmoshe ( $76000 )
Seat 9: snikerr ( $39820 )

A hand I am not in: After a couple of hands' worth of me folding trash on my blinds (why don't I resteal? It's doable but I have too much of a stack to just push, and I don't want to see a flop with hands like K2o even when I've reraised), snikerr minraises UTG and jmoshe goes all in. Snikerr calls with AK and beats jmoshe's 77 on an AA499 board. Jmoshe, who's called half the raises in the last 30 minutes, has now lost 75,000 chips.

One hand later, he pushes to another raise and takes it down.

Hand 63:
On the hand after that, I get AQs and raise to 9K UTG. jmoshe pushes *again* and I am about to call him when hwii goes all in behind him. I swear and fold, then watch jmoshe's 33 lose to TT on a 54KQ4 board. Sigh.

Stacks:
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $60740 )
Seat 5: hwiirnbw ( $97626 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $34994 )
Seat 9: snikerr ( $70640 )

Hand 64:
On the next hand, Pommie open limps on the button, hwii completes his SB, I push my Q9o and take down 9K. I make sure to fold my Q3o to snikerr the next hand, though (note: probably a mistake, since he was by far the tightest player left.)

Hand 65:
One hand later, I raise A5o UTG and hwii calls from the BB. The flop is A94r and I check behind. The turn is a 6 (2 hearts), hwii bets 3K and I raise to 10K. He calls. The river is a 2, he checks, I bet 6300 (a 'please call me' bet for 1/3 of my stack into a 40K pot), and he folds.

Hand 66:
The next hand, he open completes his SB and I check 83s. The flop is 865, he minbets 3K and I raise to 9K. He calls. The turn is a Q, he checks, I bet 10K and he folds. I show my hand for image building.

Hand 67:
Two hands later, I now have 70K and open raise AQo UTG. Hwii, now with 64K, calls again. The flop is J94, 2 clubs; I bet 12K into the 19K pot and he calls. The turn is an A, he thinks for a while and pushes 46K into a 43K pot. I briefly think about folding, but just can't figure out whether I'm ahead or behind, type in 'I'm probably gonna regret this' and call. He flips over Kc7c, the river is Jd and suddenly I am a commanding chip leader again.

Stacks:
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $54740 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $140120 )
Seat 9: snikerr ( $69140 )

Hand 68:
Pommie calls 3000 (no SB) and I check Q8o in the BB. The flop is JT8, I bet 4000 into a pot of 6K, and he calls. The turn is an 8, I think and bet 10K and he folds.

Hand 69:
I fold two hands, then raise 65s in the SB into snikerr and steal his BB.

Hand 70:
On the next hand, I get AT on the button and open raise to 9K. Snikerr calls, Pommie folds and we see a flop of AAQ, 2 clubs. Snikerr check/calls my 10K bet into a 21,000 pot; the turn is a Q and we check it through. The river is the 8c, he checks, I bet 10K into the 40K pot and he has to pay off with KcJc.

At this point, snikerr is close to crippled and my primary concern is actually letting him hang around while I get Pommie.

Hand 71:
I fold 5 or 6 more hands before raising K4o on the button and stealing the blinds.

[At this point, I don't care so much about blinds; I would rather give away 10K and try to catch Pommie with a second best hand. He is playing well and has been by far the bigger threat.]

Hand 72:
After getting a walk from Pommie in the BB, I call his button minraise from the SB with QJo. The flop is A84 and we check it through. The turn is a 4, I bet 5K and he calls. I check/fold the A river to a 9K bet.

Hand 73:
The next hand, I have 44 and steal the blinds.

In between all these hands, Pommie has been open completing a lot and betting a lot of flops. I just haven't been catching anything (K high is the best of a bad lot.)

Hand 74:
I open raise Q7o on the button to 9K. Snikerr pushes and I have to call another 8K. He turns over A6o, the board is KA42J and I double him up.

Stacks:
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $78240 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $147480 )
Seat 9: snikerr ( $38280 )

I get another walk from Pommie with AQ in the BB and fold some random trash to Pommie's minraises while he chips away at snikerr.

Hand 75:
I get 99 on the button and raise to 9K. Pommie calls. The flop is A93, 2 spades, Pommie checks, I bet 8K into the 21K pot, he min-CR's to 16K and I call. The turn is 2h, he checks and I check. The river is Qh, he checks, I bet 30K (over 1/2 of his stack) into a 50K pot and he calls. He shows A4o and I cripple him.

Stacks:
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $29240 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $203980 )
Seat 9: snikerr ( $30780 )

Hand 76:
Snikerr minraises and I call Q6s from my BB. The flop is Q83, I check, he minbets and I CR all in. He thinks and folds.

Hand 77:
Next hand, Pommie folds, I have 44 and set snikerr all in, and he folds.

Hand 78:
Next hand, I have T7s, push from the button, and Pommie calls with 99. The board comes Q8257 and I double him up.

Hand 79:
After snikerr pushes and I fold my BB, I push QJo into him from the SB and he folds again.

The fifth break started after this hand.

Level 16: (189,740 chips, 2000/4000 blinds)

Stacks:
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $55480 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $189740 )
Seat 9: snikerr ( $18780 )

Hand 80:
I get a BB walk, fold a couple of hands and then raise JTs to 12,000 from the button. Snikerr pushes for another 780 and I call. He has T8s. The board comes 7KQ53, but he rivers a flush to stay alive.

Hands 81-82:
I fold one hand, raise J6o into snikerr again, then raise KQo on the button and take some blinds down, then fold some more.

Hand 83:
Pommie open completes with 57K and I push 98s. He folds.

Hand 84:
After folding Q2o to snikerr to keep him happy, I raise to 12000 with AA. They both fold. This marks my fourth AA-TT hand in 5 hours, two of which were folded PF and two of which took the blinds.

Hand 85:
After check/folding some random J high blind hand to Pommie, I push into snikerr with 77. He folds.

There's a pattern developing here - Pommie is taking my blinds and I'm getting them back from snikerr. Ideally, I'd want snikerr to double off Pommie for once but they're not playing with each other at all after Pommie showed some willingness to call him earlier. The problem is that I'm just not getting *anything* to play when Pommie's in a hand with me.

Hands 86-89:
I raise K7s, A8s, and 98o to steal. In between, I fold QJo to snikerr's all in.

Hand 90:
Pommie minraises from the button; I have Qs8s and call from the SB. The flop is AsKs4c, I think and put him all in. He thinks, but calls with Ad2s, the turn and river are 9dKc and I double him up.

[Thoughts on this hand? I don't like it much, in retrospect.]

Hand 91:
On the next hand, I fold T3s, snikerr completes and pommie checks. Snikerr pushes the AsKs2s flop and Pommie calls. Snikerr turns over KdTd, Pommie has 4s3s and snikerr is out in third.

Stacks:
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $110520 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $153480 )

Hand 92: (from here, I'm listing every hand)
Pommie completes and I check J7o. I check/call a minbet on a T92 board and fold to another one on a 4 turn, which told me I didn't have all of my outs.
I fold J2o.
He completes and I check T5o. We check through the J629A board and his 98o is good.
I raise to 10K with T2s and steal.
I fold 53o to his minraise.
I raise to 10K with A8o and steal.
I check Q5o to his open complete and check/fold a 722 flop to a minbet.
I complete J2s. He checks. He minbets an 875 flop, I raise to 12K and he calls. We check through a T turn and I fold to his 9K bet on a 4 river.
I fold 93o to his minraise.
I fold my SB with 53o.
I fold J5o to his minraise. At this point, he has 150K to my 113K.
I raise to 10K with Qh7c and he calls. He minbets the Kc8c4d flop, I think he has nothing but probably calls a flop raise with the way I've been playing, and call. The turn is the Ah, he checks, I bet 20,000, he thinks and folds.
[Note: This was nowhere near as well thought out as it sounds like until the A hit :P]
He minraises and I call J5o this time. The flop is 987 and we both check. The turn is a 2 and I check/call a minbet. The river is a 6, I bet 8K (with the idea of folding to a raise), he calls with Q9s and I win. I now have 149K to his 114K.
I raise to 10K with T9o and he makes a minimum reraise to 20K. I call. The flop is...T96. He bets 15,500, I raise to 35K and he calls. The turn is...a 6. I hate that card more than words can describe and we check through. The river is a 3, he checks and I check. He shows 88 and I win a 110,000 pot.
[Thoughts on a river bet here? I think I should've made one...]

Stacks:
Seat 4: pommie22 ( $59520 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $204480 )

He folds to my BB (with 42s).
I fold my SB with 32s.
He completes and I check J8s. I minbet a Q86 flop and he folds.
I fold my SB with 43o.
He folds to my BB (with 22; I'd have pushed.)
I raise to 10K with K5o and he folds.
I fold 83o to his minraise.
I fold my SB with Q2o.
He minraises and I push ATo, the first time I've played back at him all game (can you see why?) He thinks and folds.
I raise to 10K with AA and he folds. I show. I'm now 3 for 3 in taking the blinds with aces and have gotten no other pairs above 99 I've actually played.
He folds to my BB (with 74s.)
I raise to 10K with J5s and he folds.

Seat 4: pommie22 ( $39520 )
Seat 7: Adanthar1 ( $224480 )

He open completes and I push Ah9h. He calls with A6o, the board comes Qh3d5c5h8h and I take down a $1,725 HU match.

My first gut reaction when I read all the hands was that you are too tight. After thinking about it though, I think you make it work for you. I think you should have been isolate raising the auto-limper though with hands like 88 instead of limping behind. It seemed to me that you didn't want to raise preflop in position if you thought you would get called, maybe I'm wrong. Also, given your tightness, don't expect to get walks as aggresive players will be shooting for your blinds. Again, not a bad thing but just be aware of it, and how you have to adjust.

Thanks for posting this report. It was nice reading an entire account of a (to me) big money win.

I play at lower stakes, and it appears that I need to tighten up if I plan on getting out of the kiddie pool. The history shows some PP that I would play differently (like foldng 77 UTG, 66 UTG+1, which I almost always play) and a JJ laydown that I would have busted out on. Your HU play also seems more poised than I'm capable of at this time. Hopefully this insight will help me in the future.

Congrats on a nice win.
