I'm a bit unsure about how I played this hand. Anybody care to point out any glaring mistakes? No reads as I just sat down, as did Villian.

Preflop: obvious
Flop: About nine outs if you are behind plus a chance you are ahead, good raise
Turn: A lot more outs now. Looks good.
River: Good call. No reason to think you aren't good 1/16 times.

Nice hand

whew that's a tough hand!! i don't see any other way to play it, and i'd call on the river for info with noone else to act.

man, i am racking my brain for any other way to play it, but i can't come up with anything. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

he could have limped KJo or TT or worse:QQ. he could be on a flush draw or 2 pair or overaggressive with a pair of Qs. without reads, this is very difficult and the pot is very big, especially with so many outs to continue with.

Preflop: easy raise.

You are bet into on the flop, unless villain is good (unlikely) he will not value bet his flush draws. He most likely has a Q,two pair or a made straight.

Your J outs are no good, they put 4 to a straight and with this many people there is bound to be a K or 8 out there. Your getting outs to draw and you want to limit the field so the raise is good.

Turn, picked up a one card FD, have to call again.

River, I cant see how you are ahead but for 16BB its a call.

I'm going to accept Grunch's no-read challenge and put in my two cents:

Preflop: standard.
Flop: I cap it. On this drawy board, Villain might be pumping a draw and you could have the best hand. Even if you don't you can pump your OSED for value.
Turn: If it's capped and he still leads out, I assume I'm drawing and call for OSED value. If checked to, I bet and call a raise.
River: One more bet HU is worth a call.

I would fold the river. I play the rest the same.

I think I would cap this flop. Everything else seems good.

I think I fold this river, I don't think you're good here enough. Other than that I play it the same.

Why don't we cap the flop here? Are we concerned with the clubs?

I think vilian is probably only raising a Q, I don't think he has KJ. So I may cap the flop, but maybe not.
I like the call on the turn as you know have club outs, plus you still have the oesd, both of which may be best. The river kinda sucks, I would probably call, I wonder if anyone else would fold. I think it maybe a good play.
Thanks again Grunch for the post yesterday.

I don't see how you could have played it much differently. You don't beat many hands on the river, but I think it's worth a call on the end.
