I can't seem to find any kind of review of this book here. Can anyone give me an opinion on it? The excerpts on CardPlayer.com have generally looked pretty good and the advice I have seen there seemed sound, if a little basic, and I was wondering if the full text actually has any merit.

Thanks.

I've read it. Eventually a review of it will go up on my web site. I think your quote I've excerpted above is a pretty good summary. There's no breakthrough, but it's definitely a cut above a lot of the dreck that's passed off as poker advice these days.

It's not the best book for beginning limit Hold'em players, but it's not bad. Given that there are a lot of very good books on the market these days, I don't feel that it's worth spending a lot of time and energy seeking it out. If you're a beginner and it falls into your lap, though, you could do a lot worse.
