Has anyone played one evening and had 2 complete morons at the table that did never use the fold button, and you can cap with TP and be good 95% of the time? You crack them and the fantasy table dies when you bankrupt both of them and you stop playing happy.

Fast forward to your next session and back to normal conditions. Do you find yourself treating these people like idiots and 3betting and capping when you shouldnt?

This session tonite I probably went WAY too far with some hands that I shouldnt, 2-3 when I really should of slowed down. I will post them under this in a few minutes when I locate them.

Has anyone else ever had this problem? I know its not really combattable but can you catch yourself, or readjust to your old game when your metagame just completely flopped?

It was 24 hrs later basically but the maniac combatness just stuck in my head and I cant shake it.

Hand #1 Other aggressor had a PFR of about 9 or so. Was pretty low-key.

Last one of the batch...Enough whining B00T!!

But seriously, I think I could of slowed down on all 3 but was in the mode of not giving anyone credit for junk. Comments on all 3 appreciated. For hands 2-3 both players were a little on the bad side. Neither were people here, basically.

My opinions:

1. Depends on how aggro button is, but he is really trying to tell you something. Against an average player, I just call the river.

2. Tricky one. I think I play it the same, but I cross my fingers that theres no 6d out.

3. Looks like some bad luck again, but I still 3-bet the river. I think your up against 2 pair more often that the straight or better set.

i think only the river 3-bet in the first hand is questionable. slowing down anywhere else would be pansyass poker.

If this is tilting to you, then you suck at it. I agree with stinkypete that only hand 1 on the river is really questionable.

Hands two and three are fine. Hand 1, you hate to get capped on the river, but you're ahead enough of the time to make the threebet I think. I wouldn't worry about the results of these hands in particular. Sets are the hands you go nuts with, especially when you river the boat.

I'd be more interested to see some hands like tptk that you think you might have overplayed, because those are so much more common.
