Just a disclaimer that I suck at value bets and I have a hard time with these thin situations as well.

Hand 1 I think we can bet and fold to a raise. He will probably pay you off with A high, and since he's passive he's not capable of a river bluff raise so if does raise we can give him credit for a better hand.

Hand 2 I'm not really sure what calls us that we beat. Are we hoping for KT here? I think the hands that are calling us include a weak ace too much of the time to make this profitable.

Hand 1 is not even close to a thin value bet. Its a very wide value bet. This should be automatic.

Hand 2 is a check. Looks like a split pot or missed flush draw to me.

Do you call a raise on the river in hand 1?

I said fold in my post but I probably call here because I look people up, but I feel it's a leak.
