ok scenario is step 3, 4 left 1st-3rd goes thru to next level
utg with 4000 odd folds
button min raises to 800 (has 800 left)
sb raises to 1700 (has 1100 left)
Hero has posted bb of 400 and has 320 left and holds 77
call or fold???
Now before we all scream call we have to think of a few things here i know im getting great odds here but i only need 3rd, there might be the posibility of button calling and losing and me going thru with 320 chips.
Also sb's raise worried me the guy had been playing quite tight and this raise was a warning to button to stay out of the hand his range i guessed at being TT-AA AK-AQ now AA-TT i am a 80/20 dog which is not good.
However if i fold and button folds i am left with 120 in chips after posting the sb and button is left with 800
My question basically is do i have more chance by taking the 80/20 risk by calling or am i better to take a shot at a 50/50 with my random sb hand and hope the button guy gets blinded out before me????
