I'm sure this has been covered before but how do you get 8+ tables into a 19" monitor? I really appreciate your help.

To get more than 4 on a single 19" monitor you are either going have to use overlap, or use some sort of multi-desktop (http://www.google.com/search?q=multi-desktop) application to create extra virtual desktops.

With something like this can you resize the desktops so you are seeing more than one at a time, or can you only switch between full-sized desktops?

As far as I know, you can only switch.

right now i have 3 monitors setup, with a 4th in the box awaiting a stand so i can use them all. i bought a video card that supports up to 4 monitors, so i can see 16 tables at once without overlap! yay! holla

It's not worth it by a long shot.

Get yourself another 19 inch monitor and do four tables on each. It will be vastly easier on your eyes and your nerves, and you can get them on sale all the time at Frys or Outpost.com for like a hundred bucks each, seriously.

You don't need a fancy video card, but a built-in crapola video card probably won't let you do it...but what I'm talking about here is extending your desktop across both monitors. This feature is now built into Windows XP. You use the extended desktop to put four tables on one monitor, four on the other, and it takes like 10 seconds to set up.

the only problem I found, is that all of the program that created the multidesktop have a problem : Let's say you are on desk1, and an action is to take on a table of desktop2, the table on desktop 2 will appear on desktop 1 /images/graemlins/frown.gif.

Anyone have try the mutli desktop to multi-tabling ?

Care to try with me to find the program and configure it so that when an action is to take on desktop 2, it will not appear on desktop 1, but remain on desktp2 ?
