MP pushes with 2,400
BB goes all for about 950
It felt like an easy call at the time

UTG+1 raised to 900
MP calls
me (2,800T) in BB w/ A9o
I call (was this ok?)

I push for 2,200 (what about this?)
UTG raiser folds AT

Hand 1: Yep, easy call.

Hand 2: I don't think I call this preflop. You didn't mention your OPPs stack sizes, but an UTG+1 raise and an MP call imply some strength. Surely one of them has a bigger ace. On the flop, unless your 9 is a diamond, I'm probably done with the hand.
