Lets hear everyone else's nominations. Threads from all 2+2 forums will be considered.

It's definitely not this one.

"Greatest 2+2 thread ever" might be stretching it a bit, but this is definitely one of the funniest I've seen.

Some funny photos in your look-a-like thread for sure, but it is just a 'knock off' of the thread I posted. Your thread was started four days after the one I posted (hmmm, I wonder where he got the idea?), so I'm going to stick with the one that originated the idea [originality has to be considered in deciding "The Greatest Thread Ever"].

P.S. Hey jstnrgrs, maybe this whole "Greatest Thread" thing should be broken into categories: funniest, most insightful (because there are so many advice forums), longest lasting, etc..

Bicyclekick went home around 3, but 3/6 all-star and other young 2+2ers are still there. Somehow, on my BB, we get one limper and Edge completes in the SB. I have a momentary lapse of judgment and check with 97o. I immediately recognize my mistake and begin chewing myself out. I bet an A84 flop and get a caller. I’m still enraged about the preflop check. 7 comes on the turn, I bet and get a fold from the new-guy limper. I am so pissed at myself for missing the extra $6 preflop that when the dealer starts pushing me the pot, I tell him I don’t want it. Keep it, Richard. This pushes 3/6 all-star off the edge. The look on his face will forever be etched in my memory…you could just see him trying to calculate how many ramen noodle meals that $21 could buy. It took him a good half of a hand for the magnitude of the events that just transpired to register with him so he could go tell the posse of our most recent transgression. As the dealer thanked me profusely for the tip, I replied (for the umpteenth time that evening) “I do what I can. I’m a humanitarian.”

I have to nominate Rick Diesel's Vegas report as one of my favorite threads ever. The "potential terrorist" and "non-whore" references have become integral parts of the trip I'm putting together for this summer.

Its the best commedy I've seen on 2+2 and its not even close.

Thanks for the shout-out. If you are planning a trip, make sure you search the B&M forum under my name for my posts on "Tips for a Successful Vegas Trip". Probably the most valuable information that I have contributed to this site. I would post a link, but I am not that technically advanced.

Some Favorites:

Woke up at 6:32 and thought, "Damn, that's a terrible flop, what am I holding?"

My mom knew I was playing poker alot at school and was already worried I wasn't getting good grades, or socializing, or whatever else moms worry about. Anyways, I got 3 A's and 2 B's. My mom asked me about my grades shortly after I got home and I told her I got "A's full of B's". Good thing she didn't know what it meant, I think she thought I was trying to be a smartass or something. I should have added a "and MHIG" after it.

You pull into your driveway, notice your odometer reads 58,762.9 miles, and think, "made it."

And the ultimate from Fireman664:
I posted this one a while back, but it fits here (this is when I knew I had a problem). I was on the roof of your typical run down abandoned inner city house fire. The roof felt a little "soggy" and I actually said, "its gotta be a good 10-1 against this roof letting go". Then it did. Me and a buddy rode it down (we were both fine). Got up, dusted ourselves off, and I said "we just got rivered... what a bad beat".... Not even a laugh from my buddy (he doesnt play poker). sometimes my best jokes dont even get a response.
