I play 90% of my MTTs on UB. For awhile now I have been very very tight in the first hour until the break. Once the break is over I begin to start stealing in the CO and other opportunities when allowed. This seems to work alright for the most part. However, always striving to improve, should I move up the start time for when I begin to steal?
Would the occasional steal around 30 minutes allow better results than waiting until the hour mark? What about sooner? First orbit? I get the "Butterfly Effect" that 20 chips in the first orbit can amount to thousands at the final table, but is it worth raising a non-respectable amount like 40 chips to win the 15? Raising more seems silly to me that early. Thoughts from those better than I? (That includes you)
