This was the first hand of a 5 dollar SNG. I was wondering if you guys thought this was to tight? Also I was wondering if I should be playing this hand in this position this early?

If you call and don't hit the flop, you are at 615 with 10/15 blinds. I don't have a problem calling at all.

My problem with this hand is raising AJo from UTG+2 at the beginning of a Party $5 SNG. I'd just call here and play poker. Since I feel I'm better than the vast majority of players at these tables, I'm happy to look at flops and outplay my opponents postflop.

fold preflop and save yourself a number of hassles. it would make me cringe to call or raise preflop with AJ off in early position.

agree with zoot...terrible preflop raise in all respects (po, hand, amt, etc...). call the reraise and "caution, bumpy roads ahead"

thanks I was leaning towards just calling since I dont really like this hand but thought I would try something different and it obviously didnt pay off.

Dont play AJo from any position in lev 1 of a party SNG...especially if you dont understand why your fold to the reraise is worse then the initial raise.

Fold preflop and never look back.

my first thought was to fold this preflop as I normally would, but for some reason I thought that I was playing very weak by folding but now I see that I need to go back to my original thought that its ok to fold this preflop.
