Here's a hypothetical hand but is really not far from a hand I played yesterday. You are new to the table and you have a small amount of pt stats on villan at 55/9/1.5 over like 40 hands, so really not a whole lot to establish a read on.
You are dealt in the BB Q /images/graemlins/diamond.gif4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
villan limps in MP, SB completes, Hero Checks
Flop: Q /images/graemlins/heart.gifJ /images/graemlins/club.gif8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
SB checks, Hero Bets, Villan raises, SB folds, Hero Calls
Turn: 6 /images/graemlins/heart.gif
Hero Bets, Villan Raises, Hero Folds.
This is a fairly common line I will take with TP bad kicker or mid pair good kicker. I guess part of my reasoning is, it is quite common for someone to raise the flop with a draw, but if that draw doesn't get there it is very uncommon for them to raise the turn again. How good/bad is this line?
