BB is a 52.6/1.75/.3 LP-P.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: I am SB with T/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG+2 calls, CO calls, I complete, BB raises, UTG+2 calls, CO calls, I fold.

Umm...yeah.

Edit: Added BB's numbers.

Expert. Bob Ciaffone has an article in Card Player this month where he talks about times when it's correct to complete in the SB and then fold for one more bet preflop. Granted, in his scenario you have worse odds the second time around, but the point holds.

You're getting 7:1 on the completion and probably seeing a flop. Coming back, you're getting the same 7:1 and closing the action, but this time you're almost definitely dominated and now your reverse implied odds suck. Nice play.

I've changed my mind, I like the fold. If it was 3 way (one less limper) I would like my hand much more.

Keep in mind your position sucks here.

I'd fold.

I'd probably complete like a moron, but it seems he rarely raises preflop, so he's probably got you well handled, so you made the right play.

I'm not saying anything until you tell me how many hands.

~570. (Don't know how many exactly at the time I played the hand and posted this.)

Its probably fine then. Was the flop 3 tens or 3 kings?

i do this quite a bit in the 15/30 game where its often correct to limp complete any two in multiwaypots getting 14:1, but when the bb raises and its your turn again you're suddenly getting 9:1 with a crappy hand OOP.

also in some instances with 1/2 blinds you'll have the same odds between completing and then calling the riase, sometimes i fold anyways if i have one of those troulbe hands like Axo. Axo getting 6:1 in an unraised pot is a lot different than Axo getting 6:1 in a raised pot.
