0/12 OTM stretch, just checking...
Table is typical semi-tight
This is an auto-push right?

I would push any suited ace, A7o+, any two broadway, any PP here. Too loose?

If the BB is 200 and you have 700, and you're UTG, I push way, way less than A8.

Yes, If you believe you have any FE on the BB I would push almost any two.

If you really want to work on your game I doubt this is the hand you want to focus on in this tourney, go back and look at the ten hands before this, I'm willing to bet you missed at least one, if not two steals.

Your standards that you listed are too tight. I would push A2o here every time and quite a few other assorted hands that you didn't mention.

These were my other potential pushes... all other times it was open raised ahead of me.

Against a typical range of push calling hands, isn't A2o one of the worst hands I could shove? Or are you just saying I should be shoving pretty much anything here?

Thanks. (just switched from Stars to Party and I'm having trouble adjusting to the blinds)

I think hands like A2-A5o are slightly underrated if that makes any sense. You don't have enough chips to fold hands like that here. With 1000 chips you can start to think about folding.

How did you lose 300 chips going through the blinds at the 50/100 level?

Don't call min raises or complete your SB in level 4 unless you have a VERY compelling reason to do so.

It was a BB hand where Villain rivered a straight.

And when you're done thinking...PUSH

A-rag aren't bad steal hands utg because
1. You have an ace (meaning its less likely others do)
2.People fold tons of A-x to PUshes.. many even fold Aj to a UTG push.
3. You have less the 5BB's (lots of hands are good steal hands)

Yeah I'm still nearly always pushing with 1k in chips, but basically the idea I was trying to convey was that the more chips you have, the tougher the decision is. With 700 chips the decision is very simple.
