I was playin a $20 SNG at Party with 4 people left and 200-400 blinds. I don't have the history so ill do my best to summarize.

BB (t450)
SB (t3300)
Hero (t1450)
UTG (t3300)

Preflop: Hero k10 both diamonds

UTG Raises all in. I fold and so does SB, the BB Calls the 50 and is all in.

Flop was: A J 7
4th: 10
River: 2

Anyways BB had k7 and UTG had 43 offsuit. Needless to say the BB won.

I ended up getting 4th which maybe is why I got so pissed on this hand, esp. because I would have pushed and won but I just can't understand the play by the UTG.

meh, doesnt really matter if it was collusion or not, assuming this was party this is not nearly clear cut enough so they won't do anything about it. Just avoid a table if you see the two players together again.

The thing is they are right beside each other so they probably had better spots to chip dump.

It's most likely incompetent play. I was going to report two players at the $22s wherein one told the other to call his bet so that they could knock me out (I was in the BB). However, when I said I was going to report them, one of them said, "Good. Do me a favor. I've dropped $2K on this site in two months." After that comment, a light bulb went on in my head and I decided not to report them.

I doubt if I will ever again report anyone for collusion, because most of what looks like collusion at the lower buyins is just really bad play -- and we don't want to discourage really bad players from making really bad plays.
