View Full Version : Structure Question for Pot Limit Omaha

I just started reading Ciaffone's book Omaha Holdem Poker. I am not familiar with the pot limit structure he suggests. In a table he suggests (for example): $1-$2-$2 blinds starting one to the left of the button, and a forced bring-in of $5.

Is the forced bring-in always the 4th player to the left of the button (assuming 3 blinds)? It just seems like a lot of forced money to have 4 players forced in. In this situation, I assume the forced bring-in is live and he can raise when it gets back to them... Correct?

Thanks, Tequila

Someone, correct me if i'm wrong but I think the 5$ bring-in is the blinds added up.

1$ + 2$ + 2$ = 5$

A three blinds structure for a total of 5$ commited.

a forced bring in here means you can only open for 5 or more. not the 2 that the big blind is.
