I played golf in Pahrump today. We made the tee time in Pahrump with the intention of checking out one of the whorehouses on the way home (back to Vegas) so we stopped by the Chicken Ranch.
One of my friends is relocating to Germany in a couple of months so we decided to chip in and buy him a going away present. None of us had purchased the services of a hooker before so this was a new experience for all of us. I have no moral objection to prostitution, but always doubted that I could go through with it. Though I must admit I have always been really curious about how things go in there, what the women look like, and how much it costs.
We finished our round of golf at about noon and drove across town to an area where two whorehouses are next door to each other (we got directions from a gas station attendant) - The Chicken Ranch and Sheri's Ranch. From the outside Sheri's Ranck looked much more inviting and we would have preferred going in there, but the parking lot was packed and there was literally a line out the door and down the steps. Several bikers were waiting for their shot and we decided that - well the girls must be very busy - and maybe it would not be so sloppy next door.
The Chicken Ranch was not busy at all and we elected to have a drink in the bar. Several girls were in the bar and they started talking to us. I preferred their approach to that of strippers trying to sell lap dances. Without exception, they seemed comfortable with themselves and what they were doing. With many stippers, you get the sense that they are ashamed to be there doing what they are doing and that carries over in their "sales pitch".
After a beer we all went to the lobby where all the available girls, about ten of them, paraded in front of us. After review, we conferred and chose a girl for our friend. The girls were not very good looking and most were overweight - so we chose the only one with a nice body and sent him in with some $$.
He did not want to screw any of them, so he intended on negotiating the cheapest price for oral and a tug. It ended up costing him $150. Full service averages about $500.
While he was in there, one of the girls visted with the rest of us and we asked her a bunch of questions about how the whole thing operates. She told us the girls work ten days at a time. The first day they go to the hospital to get tested. Then they are quarantined for three days while the tests are examined. After they are cleared they work for seven days and then they either leave or repeat the process.
Many of the girls actually live there and when you purchase services you use the same room they sleep in. They service three guys a day on average and make about $700 per day after splitting all income 50/50 with the house.
So the girl we were visiting with tells us that she has been doing porn work the past three months and has done 16 movies that will be released soon. She had a very pretty face and seemed fairly intelligent, but she was overweight. I can't believe any porn movie she is in is very high quality. She goes on to explain that she is married and her husband likes the fact that she is a whore and gets off on the idea and that she is a nympho.
Anyway, she asks one of my friends if he wants to see her room and he says sure. He claims she gave him a freebee back there.
