Last. Dead last. 46th/46. I'm quite the HORSE player.

Fun game. I busted 8th after deciding to go for it with concealed 9's as a short stack in 7cs.

I held on for 9th, but had a great time, which is the most important thing to me /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I didn't stick around to see who the winner was. I didn't recognize the names, nor were they talking. If someone knows the player(s), can you report it here?

This might have been my last tourney for a while. I will find out on Wednesday if I need a chemo session before surgery. If I am a candidate, I don't believe I'll feel like playing on Sunday, but who knows! I've heard some people snap right out of chemo and feel fine two days later. We'll see!

I am very, very happy to report some good news (finally, eh?).

The MRI and ultrasound came through, and there is no "glaring" cancer in the left breast, nor in the lymph nodes on either side. This just leaves the original cancer in the right breast. Although the surgeon cannot say that the cancer hasn't spread, NOT seeing any on these films is a very good thing!

They have decided to put off the chemo until after the surgery, not feeling that I am quite as advanced as they once felt.

The surgery is next Thursday, April 14th. I will be having a double mastectomy and will know for sure what cancer stage I am in not long after. Hopefully they will get it all, and then my treatment will be much shorter than they had originally thought.

So I will be able to play in next week's HORSE event!

PS: Shootah, I did read the file, and I'll get back to you with my thoughts shortly.
