Party Poker routinely examines the player's computer in many ways for specific software; it can easily deal fair hands to those players running monitoring packages and cheat everybody else.

Just thought I would share this fine quote in a thread at Winneronline. The thread is here (http://mb.winneronline.com/showthread.html?t=19298&page=5&pp=10)

If you are bored it is quite funny the theories that are presented, some for the very first time. The best quotes are on page 4 and 5. It is as of now a 6 page thread.

Enjoy.

Yawn!!

I read the entire thread.

Why even try to change these idiots minds? In order to do so you would have to educate them about how to play poker profitably.

What do you intend to achieve with your arguments?

the problem is not cheating 1-2 % of the games, the problem is that people stop playing if they think its rigged. I have only a small edge around 1-2 BB, if enough people leave and its tightend up I LOOSE. And i dont play poker for fun,excitment........

But that site's poker forum is obviously not read by many people, the tenth thread from the top has not had a new post in the last month. So how many fish are going to be deterred?

I would rather chance having a few fish deterred by that idiot's nonsense than a few fish educated about the benefits of PT by someone arguing with the idiot.

I don't know why, but I feel compelled to point out the gaping hole in this "theory". If even one player at the table has tracking software, they have to deal honestly. Because all hands are dealt from the same deck, once you start to deal non-randomly, you are dealing all hands non-randomly. So Party poker could only cheat players when nobody at the table has tracking software. Oh well, people who think the "sight" (this is usually how conspiracy theorists spell it) is rigged but continue to play are the kind of players we want at the table.

I think the fish would keep playing even if they had proof that it was rigged. Look at the slots players. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
