Are 100 BB downswings a daily occurence when 8 tabling?

That's what I mean. Maybe, 4 hours wasn't a good time. I am not saying the swings would be bigger, I am just curious to know if you would usually be down 100 BB's at one point during a typical 8 tabling session of say 5-6 hours.

I don't 8 table and was curious to know. And yes, I do spend an inordinate amount of time in OOT. And the number of posts in no way indicates a superiority in poker ability or concepts. Just look at TheSaltCracka. He should be Cardplayer's player of the year by now according to your logic.


EDIT: I do now realize the absurdity of this question. I guess the word weekly would be more appropriate.

I 8 table the 2-4 and 3-6 for about 40 hours per week.

I frequently run into downswings of around 30-40 BB's in a session.

That would be normal for me, but frequently 2 hours later I'm on an upswing of 50-100 BB's.

Downswings of 100 BB's in a session for me are very very rare. Upswings of 100+ BB's happen with a little more frquency. I wouldn't say they are rare but they are not common either.

It's happened to me once and I came close a 2nd time hovering around a -80 BB downswing but bounced right back up finishing up 37 BB for the night.
