I would push. If I win, my chances for first are excellent. If I lose, I am still in the hunt. Villain has 3+ BB, and so is moderately desparate. I'm not happy if he has a higher PP, but there are lots of hands he might have that make me a favorite. JMHO, I am a relative beginner.

I like a push too. His range of hands in his all in is huge.

funny, I am usually slightly looser than posters here, but in this case I would usually fold.

I'm new to this site the strategy of single table tournaments and may be confusing my building blocks but from reading other posts, this would seem to be a pretty clear fold. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Are you looser with pushes or calls? I think with pushes. It makes perfect sense that a good player who is liberal with their pushes would be conservative with their calls.

As far as this hand and PPs go, I think I call with tens, fold with nines.

I dont know, I always got the sense Im looser in both areas. Very rarely on here am I arguing to fold when everyone else says to call or raise.

I fold this because, you are in a great chip position and don't want to jeopardize that in a very close situation. Even if you put the short stack who pushed on a fairly wide range if hands (I would), don't forget that there are still several people to act behind you and you really don't need to race here since your stack will give you plenty of FE on its own but you will lose that if you lose this pot.
