this i feel is a leak in my game.

If someone calls with a 2 suited flop i feel they have a flush draw and have to protect my tptk, should i be aware of the potential set ot 2 pair, and should i be willing to laydown this hand, if i do believe they have a set or 2 pair???

jesus thats a huge flop bet.. i mean, this right here is a perfect example of why i hate raising AK in ep. how do you get away from it here? well... i guess one way is betting LESS on the flop. i think 150 would do the same thing as 250.. after getting called, hell i duno, i hate stuff like that. blah, limping with AK in ep i do like. who knows, give that a try? other than that i dont think u can fold after firing so much at the flop. 3uo

my thinking for the big bet was to drive people out there being three callers i wanted them to know i had a good hand i suppose they were only gonna call if they had me beat really.

I dont like limping ak or aq in ep as they dont play well with multi-way pots but then u do get into situations like this one i suppose

yes yes, they dont play well with a lot of limpers. however, im not trying to double up with AK, simply because you are NOT going to do that so many more times than you are. if you are getting heavy action on a board like that, you are not ahead nearly as many times as you would likely hope.

as for limping, again, i understand why people dont like doing it, but i REALLY think it gets WAY less credit than it deserves. and curtains, id love to know how you would play this hand, since you are so adamant about not limping ak ep. so please, read it and post. 3uo

There are eight combinations of KQ, KJ, and 2 combinations of K10 suited. =18 hands u can beat

Add in some 4 flushes, and you have a lot of hands you can beat.

There are also 4 combinations of AK left.

There are 2 combinations of 78 suited, and three combinations each of 77, and 88. There is one combination of KK. = 9 hands you can't beat.

What was the buyin? I think this is SOP for low buy-in games with bad players.

it was a step 2 $50 buy-in the competition was better than usual as it was in the morning 10am est (i find the tables get fishier in the evening)

what would be your play now u know the buy-in?
