For both Mozilla/IE, recently, all the pictures on sites (ESPN, porn, avatars) aren't showing up, just big red x's instead. Any help?

I find it mildly funny that you are giving such trivial advice and your avatar doesn't even show up properly.

I always try restarting first. After that, I really don't know. Sounds messed up if you didn't change any of the browser options AND it's happening in both browsers.

Did you try just typing the address of an image into your browser? Here's one to try:
