I recently started a thread where I discussed going broke after attempting a steal from mid-position with KJ and flopping top pair. A few people responded that I should try to steal with low suited connectors, not with KJ. I assume that the reason for this is because KJ is so easily dominated.
Prior to these posts, I would steal with KJ first in from mid or late position, and limp from late position. However, this criticism has caused me to re-evaluate the way I play KJ. Two questions, in particular, come to mind: (1) is it ever correct to attempt a steal with KJ? I see that I shouldn't do it from mid position, but what about from the cutoff, or the button? (2) under what circumstances is KJ playable?
