sooo... i got a tell-a-friend bonus at starluck, they don't let you clear it playing BJ or VP, and the min bet at 3card (the next lowest HA allowed game) is five on ante and five on pairplus. I've busted a couple of TAF boni on 3card, so i thought i'd give let it ride a shot. the WR was only 6x, and the RoI was 96.6%, i believe, with 1$ bets this looked pretty safe....
or so i thought- then i got stuck by the bad side of variance- i lost- not kidding here- 27 hands in a row. that's 27 5 card poker hands without a pair of jacks or better. yikes!
the chance of getting nothing for one hand is @79%- so this had a 0.00172% chance of happening, that is, 1 in 581,000. holy crap.
I am never playing let it ride again. I'm just glad it didn't happen while i was playing poker. Sorry for the rant, but this is the most stasticly signifigant losing streak i've ever encountered. back to 3 card for me...
