Ive searched google, but i can find anythign that I believe is not a scam. I made some dumb mistakes when I was 18-20
running up my credit, missing payments, not paying, etc. Ive paid EVERYTHING off due to my poker winnings, but my credit isnt that great. 610 score, i think. Can you guys reccomend me to someone/site, where I can fix everything? I know you can dispute every bad mark, but if it happened, is that "legal" etc.

Ps, I do have credit cards, but keep a smallish balance on a few, and make way more than the minumum payments each month to establish some good credit. Should I be doing this?

Get a copy of your credit report from the big three. You can get a free report each year. Figure out what's on there that you can get knocked off and go from there.

You're fine with the credit cards. 610 isn't horrible, it's just gonna take a bit to get back up in the 700s.

seriously, how is any person under the age of 50 aware that any lincoln other than the navigator exists? is the LS some kind of sleeper hip hop hit?

STLantny

Eh, Ill agree to that. A couple of my friends have navi's though and they are too big 4 where i live now (on the hill), and you dont see younger guys driving in LSs a lot, which is why I like em.

cadillac is well on its way to having a stable modern image. reliability is decent. these things make resale a lot better. lincoln has one foot in the grave despite the assistance of navigator (which appears to have been long since eclipsed by the escalade). mercury is dying, and buick is dead.

the ls is boring, old, has lackluster fuel economy, and reliability issues. if you buy it you will be rewarded with frequent trips to the gas station with no hotness to show for it, and even if you manage to avoid trips to the shop you'll still get beans when you sell it. seriously.

for that price and in the same general class of car in terms of style/speed/flash/size you could get something like a lexus es, acura tl, infiniti i35, etc.

Town Cars rule. I submit the cars in Grosse Point Blank as evidence.

I don't think you can really 'fix' your credit report. You can pay off the debt and wait 7-10 years and your credit will start anew. I'm pretty sure there's nothing much you can do about bad credit except wait and apply for credit cards every once in a while and build up your credit again.
