Fold AK in this spot 4handed (55)?

Not to be results oriented or anything but TestComputer was getting lucky as hell just staying in the tourney so I'd imagine he'd go all-in here in the BB for his remaining 295 chips. Anyone fold AK here on the button? I didn't run the math yet but my gut said fold at the time since a big stack limped and would obviously call my all-in.

This is one of those decisions i could only give a definite answer to if it actually happened to me in a tourney. Right now i'm leaning towards push. Odds are you're putting your chips in as the favourite, and if you fold and Test Computer wins, you're SOL.

Besides,if you both bust, you will probably take 3rd anyways .

This is true that if I push and we both bust that I get 3rd. But if Test wins and the other big stack beats me then I'm out 4th there too. But what would happen if I pushed, Test folded and big stack takes me out? I saw it as a bad gamble but then again this is the whole reason I posted it here. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

You do have a point and that's what makes this decision difficult.

If I were him and you pushed, I'd be happy to let you and big stack duke it out. Unless, that is, I have a monster... like.. AK.
