Too much of your stack to call off pre-flop. He's an idiot for making such a small turn bet. Looks like the 8 might have saved you on the river though, right?

95 is too much of 1870?

I'm not so sure it did. I think this dude has him beat, but I don't really disagree with the actions by the hero.

At first I thought he played it like he had 6x, but he raised preflop, and fairly big. He's gotta have AA or TT, (maybe 66, but i doubt it), or just be really silly.

You do realize that 95 is too much to call to potentially win 770 though right?

I felt that with my big stack it was a slightly -EV call i could afford to make due to the huge advantage having a 2500 chip stack after 2 hands can have in a SNG. I felt the advantage it would allow me in hands further down the road in the tournament would more than make up for the slight -EV of calling 95 to win 770.

Then there is the added possibility that he is raising with AK or AQs, and I can outplay him post-flop.

Am I totally wrong in thinking this?

Its too many BBs IMO to see a flop...playing PPs isnt always only about implied odds and % of stack...7bb raise here makes me think you got out boated...esp after the 35 bet...he flopped the FH and kept u around hoping u'd draw?
