Can I just buy any old carrying case or do only certain ones test for shock and vibration like dells?

i got a kensington saddlebag through dell.

i have had many laptop cases and this is by far the best one i have ever owned. the compartment for the machine is centered and very well padded. mine was only $50, but they have other great ones. i would reccomend highly getting a saddlebag style versus all the other styles.
