Yup so hard to play someone who has 59/44 stats going on and is BETTING AND CALLING EVERYTHING? BTW, easy value checkraise on the river.

I'd say considering how many bets when in when I was winning YOU are MY bitch?

Come on, The Dude, this is clearly an image play, particularly useful against someone who pays off like a bitch ass slot machine.

I think Sklansky recommends this in Poker Essays, or something like that. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I had 66. Don't you see the BIG POT? I had to call. Only a prag would play T8 like that against NO-FOLD-EM-SCHNEIDS!!!

I think he played it ok, though I'm not overly fond of betting out on the river.

Well, if someone can make an argument on why anything he did was wrong I'd like to know. Check-call is ok on the flop, but really, there's nowhere he can fold here.

Are you saying that based on the opponent only, or as a general practice? Blind defense is a weak spot for me, so I'm curious.

I would have a hard time calling the turn, with really only a gutshot and maybe a T out if I had just check-called the flop to begin with.

For the record I was playing on sthief's table spilling some steam and being a huge huge huge LAG (he was also being a big LAG, himself). I really wouldn't look for anything of actual value in this hand.

In a 6-max game I'd say it's close to a general practice, though you should always be aware of your opponent in those situations and it's a pretty dynamic spot. Despite losing, I doubt Schnieds would say that SThief made a mistake in getting to the river - maybe in how he got there (though I really don't have a problem with that either), but not in getting there.

OK. I figured at first glance that those two were calling down with pretty much anything, just to see if they could win a hand with 6-high or something.

Anybody who's played with Schneids on a .5/1 table knows that he's betting the river 100% of the time, and paying off a check-raise w/ virtually any two. (I mean it. He might do this playing the board.)

BTW, I just wanted to say that if you think this hand is you owning Schneids, you're a putz. I mean, really. Of all the sh*tty lines he's taken in these .5/1 games, and all the crappy beats he's suffered after leading to the river w/ 8 high, you chose this hand? Weak.

Nice! If you play 200 hands/houer then you can make $110/h. Why do we try to get to higher limits?! /images/graemlins/grin.gif
