Less than 8 BB and a non-monster (AA, KK), push pre-flop. I usually push at 10 BB or less. You will get plenty of calls with hands you dominate to make this very profitable. You want to push pre-flop to get people to fold their low pocket pairs.

So if I push to get low PP to fold, who calls?

You just increased your stack by 60%, nothing fishy about that. You only had a 1/2 pot bet left behind, nothing wrong with getting it in on the turn.

Sometimes AQ, AJ, you'd be surprised. A lot of the time in these SNG's you have to take your chances on a coin flip. This is almost certainly a case where you are a coin flip at worst (save for the times that someone limped with AA or KK).

Any raise puts in so much of your stack that you can't get away from it. So, if you are up against AA or KK you are almost certainly going to get all your money in anyway.

With AK it is perfectly fine if no one calls you, but when he looks down at his beautiful AJs, he's probably going to call.
