First episode was on Spike TV last night. I thought it was very funny. The premise is he goes to Riverside, Iowa to film a Sci-Fi movie ad recruits locals to be in it. But it's all a gag.
His crew includes "Tiny" his stunt double and "Herb" the bumbling production assistant. Tiny is taller and has a different build than Shatner...
Hard to say if the people will catch on or not. Part of the humor is Shatner making fun of the sci-fi genre as well as himself.
I recommend the show. I believe the next episode is on tonight.
