Anyone play here at Absolute Poker?? I just started and I find their software to be INSANELY slow, and crappy. By far the worst I have experienced yet. Their bonuses and reloads are however fairly good...Really good I should say. It does seem like its going to take a LONG time to work off however 1000 raked hands per $100..
Combined with their horrible software and ROCK type players.. what do you think is the fastest/easiest way to work off their bonuses? 3 table 1/2 shorthanded 2/4 fullring??

Also, how many of you 2+2ers actually play here??

I'm doing this right now. The shorthanded tables are probably the best way to clear this bonus. I've played about 500 hands so far and cleared about $35 worth of the bonus. The software isn't as bad as something like Pacific.

The software is not good, and the graphics are awful. Those "AP" logos in each chair are really ugly, and the garish colors of everything on the screen make my eyes hurt. Anyone know of any options or modifications?

I've tried the full tables and 6 max at the lower limits and it is a total rock garden. I don't have the roll to play higher limits so it's hard to get a pot big enough to be counted for raked...

Ive been playing there a lot. The 3/6 is quite weak at all times of the day. The problem is that sometimes there are no games going, but its gotten better. As for it being a rock garden I dont know anything about that. And their bonus is great. I can clear it at about $15/hr which i consider to be my base pay. Then my winnings are my commission. I will give you that the software is CRAP!!

Over 16140 hands I have 74.65% if them raked. Thats basically $7.47/100 hands or 1.245BB/100 hands. Combined with rakeback (they dont count bonus against your MGR) thats over 1.5BB/100 extra. Thats a pretty good bonus for a 3/6 player. You can probably clear the bonus for a higher BB/100 rate playing a smaller game like 1/2 but I think thats pretty much what all the 1/2 players are doing and thats probably why its so tight.

i have noticed when i three table at AP, after ~3 hours, my hard drive starts working like crazy. if i cont to play, i eventually lock up. so now when this stuff starts to happend, i close the program and start again. my puter is just over a year old so dont think its a prob on my end.

also, as another posted stated, thats prob why $1/2 is so tight; all the good bonus whores are there.

Really? They don't count bonus against your MGR? Now that's just super sweet.
