I don't belong at 5/10 (6-max). I know I don't. I'm not even sure I'm a winning player at .5/1. But I'm here. I have the BR for it and I like taking shots, so that's what I've been doing. I've actually done OK the several times I've sat down. I think I'm up about 15BB over 500 hands or so. I know I'm running well, I'm not THAT delusional. So in this thread I'm going to post a couple hands of different situations. Preflop, postflop, many different types that I'd like feedback on. Just one thing. If you want to rip into me for playing a limit I don't belong at, at least comment on my plays too. Thanks!

Anyone find a raise here. It was the way he seemed to 3bet before I could raise that sent me into calldown mode. I know at 6max I should be fearing AA/KK/QQ everytime it's 3bet. Let's say I raise the turn, should I be folding to a 3bet?

I haven't seen UTG be very aggressive PF, but then again I've only been here for about 30 hands so I could be mistaken...

Preflop: Hero is MP with A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, T/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#666666">Hero folds</font>.

Standard or am I giving up too much here? Is this a call against an unknown? An aggressive player preflop?

You have to raise either the flop or turn except agaisnt players that will ditch a lot of hands to your raise.

This is more than fine. I'd only consider playing this agaisnt a 25%+ pfr or so.

You have to raise that flop. If you can't raise top pair you should fold to the 3-bet.

Villain is fairly new to table. When he C/R me on the turn I was almost positive he had the flush. Anyone lay this down?

You have to raise this, and no, you can't go around fearing AA KK QQ every time it's 3-bet. I 3-bet a lot of different hands preflop (99-AA, AK AQ, KQs, QJs, JTs etc.), depending on situation.

Thanks guys. That's why I posted this. I felt a raise was definitely in order and I'm not sure why I didn't. Villain showed TT and MHIG.

I just reread my post and I meant to say "shouldN'T fear AA, KK." Just so you don't think I'm that hopeless.

TT beats you on this board.

Hmm, I'll have to write to party thanking them for pushing the pot to the wrong person. Where on earth does TT beat me on this board? (given neither ten is a heart?)

The river was a Ten. 3 Tens beats 2 queens.

This is why I hate flat mode. Villain's TT hand was on my KQ hand. I haven't given the results of the QQ hand yet as I'd like feedback on it first.

This is why you should post hands in separate threads.

Not raising is often the right play in hands like these when your opponent is solid. On this board you are likely way ahead, and if you raise your opponent will cheaply fold hands you would rather collect bets from. In your KQ hand, if I have a read that the opponent is solid, I would play it the same way but raise a non-heart river.
