What do you think the fraction/percentage is of 2+2 forum members to total poker players?
In other words, what total percentage of the poker playing population is using the 2+2 forums to improve their poker game?

i'll just pull a number out of my ass and say 4.39%, thats if the "poker playing population" doesnt include all people who do play money, and who play at home. if it includes everyone then its probably in the 2.41% range.
EDIT: crap i forgot to multiply the tangent divided by 4pi squared. how could i be so careless? anyway it brings it to about 2.17% now

I read a recent article that stated that 1.8m people play poker online each month. I can't vouch for its accuracy. If true, the figure is probably a bit lower due to multiple accounts, but add poker rooms and casinos you're easily looking at a few million worldwide. I'd say the 2+2 membership is more in the thousands, so i'd guess a lot less than 1%.

I would think much less than 1%. Mason's latest milestone post (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1883647&page=&view=&s b=5&o=) says 2+2 has 25,000 registered members.
If you figure the number of poker players worldwide to be at least 100,000,000* then that would mean only 0.025% of poker players are 2+2ers.

*I define poker player broadly. If your grandmother plays nickel dime poker a couple times a year at family gatherings, she would meet my definition.
