$200 bonus for Pokerroom first time deposit bonus, 40%, so $500 is required for the max bonus. No code needed. As far as I know there is no rakeback available for PR. If you can't get to it tonite don't sweat it too much since bonuswhores has a special signup, 30% for $200. Just thought yall would be interested.

How is pokerroom? Never played there...I assume they are PT compatable and allow 4 tabling, 10x raked hands for bonus?
Do they bonus all at once or in $10 chunks?

I think the bonus is all at once. It looks reasonable to clear at 1/2 according to Bonuswhores. It's 60 days to clear the bonus. Here is the bonuswhores page on PR. (http://www.bonuswhores.com/poker-room.php)

I just signed up this morning. Not too impressed with the software yet, but it does store hand history on your hard-drive so PT can read it quickly. (Although, I seem to be having some trouble getting GT+ to put the stats next to the correct opponents??)

I think the bonus is all paid out at once, but you get 2 months to clear it.

When I first started playing, I think PokerRoom was the 2nd site that I played. I remember that the bonus was impossible to clear at .25/50. So...I went over to peek at the bonus requirements to see if they have changed at all. They haven't. Pretty much if you don't play at least $1/2, don't bother. So, here's a quick FYI regarding the requirements for the bonus:

For every 7 player points you earn, you earn $1 of the bonus. i.e. you need 1400 player points to clear the full $200 bonus.

You earn a player point for every hand where the rake is $1 or more. You earn .5 point for every hand where the rake is less that $1 but greater than $.50.

PokerRoom's rake is basically straight 5% for games from .50/1 to $1/2. So what you're looking at here is you will earn $1.00 in bonus cash for every 7 hands where the pot reaches $20 and $1.00 for every 14 hands where the pot is between $10 and $20.

Basically, if you play .25/50, good luck clearing this bonus in your lifetime. I haven't taken the time to calculate approx. how many hands a .50/1 player will have to see to get the full bonus, but I'm guessing even 4-tablers would need to put in a TON of hours to clear this within the 60-day time limit.

Here's a link that might help with Pokerroom layouts for GT+.

So basically the best way to clear this bonus is to play 1/2?

I can't get to it tonight, I'll have to do it later. The extra 10% match doesn't have me rushing.

Ok, I'm guessing that a whole slew of 2+2'ers just jumped into Poker Room because every one of my tables went from 35+VPIP to about 20 in a matter of an hour. /images/graemlins/mad.gif
