No real reads on PFR as i'm away from my db at the moment. Best I can say is that he's not a rock.

I don't like it. A better hand (KK, QQ, JJ) is going to call you down or (Ax) raise you. A worse hand (KQ, KJ) folds.

Against an unknown, I check/call all the way down.

Are the times that villian raised preflop with a worse (non-A) hand than Hero really going to justify a calldown? Or am I just being weak/tight for wanting to bet/fold the flop?

I think the flop lead is a must in order to protect what has a good chance of being the best hand. Or, are you advocating a check/call on the flop as well?

you don't have a good chance of having the best hand. further, if you don't have the best hand you have 2 outs

You're giving the PF raiser too much credit.

I don't think any worse hands raise preflop and this flop and I doubt if you have much of a chance to fold out 99-KK.

I hate it as well, i'm expecting to go back and find out he was raising light or a LAG, but I think I deserved to get berated for it anyway. (Since I should probably c/r a LAG here)

As I suspected -- Villain was 50%/20% pre-flop, having shown down a PFR of 93o in her first orbit.

Decent against a loose raiser?
