I just wanted to say that I have no idea what I would do in this spot. Good hand to post.

Leading out is a semi-bluff or for value, but you are supposed to have a chance that everyone will fold if it is a semi-bluff, which won't happen here. So, it must be for value.

I think I just check-call here. That seems weird.

i bet this out every time. If they fold - great. If they call - great. Win/win in the long run. I suppose you could try a check raise and hope UTG bets to fatten the pot. But on the whole I bet out. The real test is the Turn if you miss.

I like to check, looking for an opportunity to check/raise.

well, you're probably not getting everyone to fold. maybe check and raise there's a bet and no callers. leading out would seem to be the standard play but it's a less powerful move.

more importantly, is it an OESD or a double gut shot? I vote double gut shot

If you take your line, the turn is easy. Bet HU, check otherwise.

This is why I hate hands like Q7o...I would check and call this flop; if a J hits, there are still hands that can beat you, ugggh.

And if someone raises you, especially if you might be drawing to a split pot (at least one end)-- not so great.

Good point - I'll give checking a try.

Basically open ended, but anyone with a Q splits with you if a Jack hits, so it's a weaker draw. You're 6 is more likely to be nutty, so call that a full 4 outs. The Jack maybe 2 outs. Call it 6 all together.

It's a small pot so you REALLY don't want to bet, get raised, and then call. Terrible pot odds then. Given that, I'd check and call one bet. If you miss on the turn, there's a damn good chance that you don't have odds to chase to the river given the small size of the pot. At 6 outs you want ~6.5:1 and you're probably barely getting it, if at all.
