If unfamiliar with these, its a two day tourney where day 1 is single tables at 5 designated times, then day two is a MTT with only single table winners, you CANNOT buy directly into day 2.

ok heres the scenerio:
3 handed
button 7800T
SB 3700T
BB 3500T

blinds 3-600, 50 antes

button folds, sb pushes, you have A3 in BB

do you call or fold?
Is it close either way ? and why ?

*remember there is only 1 prize, 2nd is the same as tenth.

I hate calling with A3 here. Say it was the opposite and the SB limped, then I'd definitely push with it.

But having said that, I think it really depends on 2 things. How has this guy been playing up to now and your read at this particular moment. I'd sweat him a little to see if you can pick up anything. If he's been playing solid cards and looks solid after a little sweat, then I'd fold.

I'm with Toro. Depends completely on your read of him. Calling a push requires stronger cards than making a push. A3 from BB can push against a limping SB, but I would not likely call his push unless he's been aggressively pushing recently and stealing.
