Fold. His VPIP lets you know he'd call the $12 raise with A10, AJ, AQ or a variety of other AX hands. A8 is also another strong possibility. Your gutshot flush draw and KK are no good here. I think this is an easy lay down IMO.

I assume you mean backdoor flush draw...

Without a better read on villain, I would also fold.

It is player dependent. Many times in a raised pot with the raiser last to act I will bet the ace even if I dont have it, to see where I am. Usually a player with AK, AQ etc. will minraise you back and give you an idea if his ace is stronger than your fake ace. If he calls, there is a good chance that he has KK QQ JJ and doesnt believe you. I like maing raising him back, because there is a good chance he called with A7 suited etc., Now you can play the ace too. But it is all player dependent. If you hit a king on the tunr you are good, if not he may check to see what you do and you can either bet hard or take a free card. But i dont like to give up to early on a hand like this. There is also a club draw, looks to me a weak ace 15 into a 40 pot. I like the raise and playing the player with a weak ace

That's true, but I think you're giving a lot of credit to a player we don't know much about. Also, if you call or raise you do it without knowing what the SB is going to do - check/raise is a very real possibility.

Easy fold.

I agree. Quietly muck your hand and don't waste your money.
