I'm betting and 3-betting that turn. You put Villain on too narrow a range of hands (hand really).

With all that dead money in there, I wouldn't stop raising at any street.

What do you think MP2 has?

MP2 had almost a 40 percent preflop raise rate
so i put him on J and a 10 or two 10s

To me, 40% PFR means pretty much anything. I don't think you can narrow him down just based on a flop cap. If he caps the turn then you can slow down.

I agree with everyone else. Capping the turn is good. Keep plugging away, unless you have a really good reason to think that you're beaten. For example, if the third spade or a 9 falls and the button or UTG+2 come to life, then maybe call down.

Yeah, MP2 might have JTs or TT, but he's just as likely to have an overpair or pumping a solid draw. Plus, you're drawing live if you are behind on the flop. With all the callers, he might be correct to raise, but you should like your hand, too.

OK, I am definitely leading this turn. If everyone is along for the ride I 3-bet. If it gets HU, I am just going to call his raise.

I think hero just went into a shell too soon. If he thinks MP is going to raise PF with JT, why wouldn't he raise with QJ, KJ, J9, AT, KT, QT?

That sucks, but you still should've been more aggressive on the turn with all of the dead money in the middle.

OK, that sucks. Regardless of the outcome, I think you shut down too early.
