I'm thinking about doing a Las Vegas trip to play poker during Comdex next month -- I've heard there's great action at that time, but there are a couple of posts on rgp expressing the opposite view. Any thoughts?
I'd be playing 15-30 and 20-40.
Roy Cooke has written on more than one occasion about the great action during the Comdex event but good luck finding a seat...I imagine you may have to get there around noon to get a seat around dinner time (don't know this for sure...just guessing).
I have never seen a guy take as many poker trips as you do...lucky bastard :-)

I was there for COMDEX 2 years ago and remember waiting less than an hour for a seat at 6-12 Omaha HL at Bellagio. That was a Tuesday at about 5:00 PM. The room was packed the Friday before and I had to settle for 1-5 stud after 2 hours of waiting. I remember the lists for the mid-high limits were long, too.

One thing--with the bear market--the action will be less.
Also, I would think COMDEX has gotten smaller due to the tech meltdown.

[/ QUOTE ] Only my fourth this year. Anyway, I'm running good this month -- today I booked an $1,800 win in just over three hours.
