4 players limp.

You got KJs, 2 blinds left to call

Your on the button:
you raise because your chance to win is greater than your share of the pot and you have position.

Your on the BB:
you raise because your chance to win is greater than your share of the pot.

Your on the SB:
Should you raise? your paying 1.5 for each 1 called or 1.666 if your in 3/6.

Probably save it for the premium hands?

aren't you still paying less than if you raised on the button? if that's your question.

Actually I worded it wrong.

You are paying less but considering the uber crappy position your in and that you have to put more in the pot than in the BB is it still worth it

How much money you've put in the pot is irrelevant in all decisions. (well, perhaps not tournaments...)

Its dead money. Its not yours anymore. Its the pots.

I know that.

its not the money you already put into the pot from the blinds its the raise.

Raising 2 SB from the button with KJs is great you got position. But raising 1.5 small bets in teh SB (already posted .5 small bet in SB) and out of position is it worth it? would you select tighter hands?

With 4 limpers I am raising.

Just wanna point out:

When people are just limping, it makes it less likely that AK, AQ, AJ and KQ are out there. When the cats away the mice will play, if you will.

Add to that your hand is great multiway, this is a raise.

How do you know what your share of the pot will be until you see how many opponents, especially the blinds, call your raise?

What is your chance of winning and how are you determining it?

Conventionl wisdom (derived from both expererience and poker stove simulations) indicate that at a low limit table, with 4 limps, KJs tends to win more ofthen than its fair share.
