Great turnout this week everyone. I hope it keeps up.

Would anyone consider the possibility that the games be made private, if we keep the interest level high? I had two new players not get in the Atlantic game in time last night. Just a thought, I know it has been pooh-pooh'd before. Keep in mind, the Atlantic game had 15 2+2r's, and the three that weren't were seated before the game starters sat.

Thanks,

Steve

I was one of the poohed in the past.

I like the idea of private tourney.
1. the numbers will likely stay close to a two table.
2. no one gets shut out.
3. you can sign up early in case you are distracted.
4. some of the chat must be scaring the crap out of the non 2+2'ers. I won't mention any code names......

most games have little chat. Our games, especially last night, must seem like walking into a party where you don't know anyone and everyone else has been doing tequila shots for a couple of hours already......

I also treid to play last night and stopped paying attention for a minute before I noticed you guys sat in one with 2+2 ers not in at the beginning. Couldn't hit the register button fast enough at that point before it was full. That thing filled up like lightning.

How far in advance can you set up a "password" SNG? Be great if you could set it up an hour before start time and then 2+2ers could register throughout the hour.

"How far in advance can you set up a "password" SNG?"

As far as I know, private games can be set at least a week in advance. UKgazz sets up the private Sunday tourney days in advance usually.

Congrats DrPhysic ! Hate to admit it but it was Pocket A's the first hand. Had to be a new world and american record for elapsed time to exit (about 20 seconds).

I definitely like the idea of a private tourney. As others, I couldn't register in time yesterday.

Hi guys,

Codewarrior and I talked about this early this morning, and we agree that the recent participation warrants a change. There will be an announcement later this afternoon.

supbro,

The good participation in both the Atlantic and Pacific games last night and the last couple of weeks was very encouraging. We had 15 players in each game last night and at least three 2+2ers who wanted to play but could not get in the games in time.

We are going to make a change for next week. If successful, it may become a permanent change. Feedback is requested both before and after next week’s games.

Next week’s games have been posted on PokerStars as Private MTT Tournaments. The early game is “2+2 Atlantic” at 8:00EST (20:00 Stars Lobby Time). The late game is “2+2 Pacific” at 10:00EST (22:00 Stars Lobby Time) both on Wednesday April 6.

The password for both games will be “supbro” without the quotes

This change will allow all who want to participate, a chance to play. Codewarrior and I hope that a goodly number of 2+2ers will take this opportunity to make our games even better.

Both games are now open for registration.
