Inspired by Diablo's thread. It reminded me of the first time I heard 'Angel' by Sarah Mac.
I was on a big job in a rich part of seattle in a huge house. I had my little piece of crap radio blaring. It's great when the clients were gone. Given the acoustics of the room and such, it sounded like it was live right there. It's not too many songs that stop me from working so I can just sit back and listen. This was one of those few moments. The vocal and piano just soared out into the room, with a slight reverb off the wood floor and bare walls.
One of the more pleasant memories I have of that piece of crap job. Another memory is the owner of the house and how hot she was when I met her. Yowza!
Anyone else have a song or moment like this?
