I cut short my gamble session at the casino so I could make it home in time to watch.
This week they had a girl who was addicted to quarter slots and a gay dude who was addicted to crystal meth and sex.
The gay dude was unremarkable, just another tweaker. I kind of respected the slot girl though. She had her boyfriend working 3 jobs to pay her rent and support her weakness for the slots. She also had daddy making the payments on a nice SUV. When it came time for the intervention she called everyone's bluff. The boyfriend said he was going to kick her out. The dad said he was going to take back the car and make her live on the streets. She told them all to go to hell and then picked out the weakest member and separated him from the pack. In this case it was the boyfriend. She managed to get him outside of the room and then convinced him to get her ass out of there. hahaha. Her best hope is to discover Hold'em. She would have a puncher's chance in a no limit game.
Next week's show is about a single mom addicted to meth. I'm looking forward to another uplifting episode.
