This a very typical Party .5/1 loose passive table. The SB, UTG+1, MP3, and Button are all loose passive pre-flop and passive post flop. I have been struggling with my game lately so I have dropped back to .5/1 to try and get back to playing well.

Preflop: Hero is CO with A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, T/images/graemlins/club.gif.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Hero calls, Button calls, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (7 SB) 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/spade.gif (7 players)
SB bets, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, Hero folds...

Is this a weak fold on the flop? With the lead bet coming from a passive post flop player on such a coordinated board I figured there was a decent chance I didn't have the best hand now and if I did it was very likely I would be drawn out on.

Good fold or weak tight?

What about calling the flop and raising the turn if a safe card comes?

what if you raise pre-flop and it's the same flop action, this time though there's 14SB in the pot on the flop. do you raise the flop here?

If Hero trusts his read, then folding is fine. If he believes his opponents can get a little aggressive, this play is also an option. However, I don't think this is a very highly profitable spot when seven players see this flop (implicit collusion -- lots of cards are bad because there are lots of villains), so folding isn't giving up very much EV.

Calling PF is fine.

I would call the flop and re-evaluate on the turn. You're not quite closing the action, but I'm not folding here. Even passive players will bet out high single spades and 9's here.

Lousy ass flop. But like Entity said, I'd call and see where I'm at on the turn. If the 4 flush or 4 straight comes I'm out, but you're in pretty good shape if the turn is some offsuit 3.
