Been observing this forum for a long time and thank you to everyone that posts. I feel like I have been busting out in the 4-6th positions far too often lately and am wondering if I am playing my bubble hands wrong.

A couple of hands are included below. Your wisdom is greatly appreciated. These are the PP 20+2s

One thing, Im not a big fan of min raising with A8s there, as it makes it somewhat likely youll get action, especialyl from the BB. If I do raise I almost always raise to at least 2.5x the BB (Although in some cases I'll make it 2.25x the BB).

There is something about just doubling it though that makes it much more likely that the blinds will give you action, which you obviously don't want with A8s here.

On the flop, your hand is too strong and you have to play for all your chips.

Yes, pretty sure I played that A-8 horribly and deserved to lose. Thanks for the help.

When you have less than 10x BB, you move in. You can often move in preflop with 15x BB. With A8s in the CO, folded to me, I really like just taking your stack and moving it in the middle.

btw yes allin may be correct, I was just expressing how I dont like min raising in general in this spot.

I knew the min. raise with the A-8 was a weak move here. Needed some better players to chastise me.

Is the A-Q hand a clear all in?

Yes the AQ hand is a very clear allin. You have a very strong hand and only 5 times the big blind. Your hand could be signifigantly worse and it would still be a clearcut allin.
